I have owned this chair for a while now and I feel that I am able to give it a fair review. This is the first time I have owned a mesh chair and so far it is going well.
The good:
The seat of the chair is great, it has plenty of room and it doesn’t feel like you’re cramped for space. The base legs of the chair are flat on the top of the ends which facilities resting your feet on the ends of the legs. The arms are highly adjustable and the tops of the arms are much bigger than I thought they would be (in a good way).
The recline function is fantastic, you can adjust how much force is needed to make that chair recline. The ability to lock the chair in the recline position is great. The footrest is a brilliant feature. It is easy to fold and unfold, the pads are very comfy. The ability to fold the chair in half so it can be easily stored under your desk is well implemented and easy to use. The headrest is nice and wide with a range of adjustments. The combination of headrest, recline and footrest work really well together. I would like it if it were possible to lock the headrest in place more firmly to allow greater force from my head against it without inadvertently adjusting it.
Needs improving:
The lumbar support is very strong and does require some getting used to. I actually found that the firmest setting was the easiest for my back to handle combined with placing the back of the chair as low as it will go (obviously everyone is different so it will probably be different for you). It might be good in future chairs to have the option of lumbar support that juts out less. I do still find the chair to be comfy.
Overall:
Overall, I do recommend this chair. It is well built and comfy despite the lumbar support and appears to be good value for money when compared to other premium office chairs, although I should note that this is the only premium office chair that I have ever owned.
